Hey!
So I haven't done a favorites blog post in a while, so I figured I should probably update y'all on my recent favorite beauty products. Powder: Maybelline Fit Me! in Translucent- $5.99 Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade in Medium Brown- $18.00 Eyeshadow Palette: Morphe X Kathleen Lights Palette-(unfortunately it's not being sold anymore, but I still pretty much use it on a weekly basis) Eyeliner: Physician's Formula Eyebooster in Ultra Black- $10.95 Mascara: Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! in Jet Black- $24.00 I know this post was super short, and I have more favorites, but I will probably end up putting them in my March favorites post. I'm thinking about making these monthly favorites posts a regular thing, so stay tuned for that! Hope y'all enjoyed this short post, have a great weekend! Mwah! -Shan :)

Hey! For today's blog post I'm going to be doing a review on the Morphe X Kathleen Lights Eyeshadow Palette. Enjoy! First off, the palette retailed for $22.99, a fair price for the amount of eyeshadows you receive. The palette offers an array of different colors, ranging from pink tones to neutrals, and can be used to make a dramatic smokey eye or even just a simple "no makeup- makeup look. It even offers an intense and unique green shadow that expresses Kathleen Lights personality being incorporated into the palette. True to Morphe's shadows, the expectation of buttery, easily blended shadows was expected when using the palette, and the palette did not disappoint. I find the shadows easy to blend and easy to apply. The mattes are incredibly pigminted, and the shimmers are not patchy at all. My only complaint about this palette is that the shimmer shadows do have a pretty decent amount of fallout, but to me, if the worst an eyeshadow palette has is fallout, but it still has good pigmintation then I still think it's worth having. Unfortunately, Morphe has stopped selling this product, so you all can't get your hands on it, but if Morphe does begin selling it again, I will definitely update this post on that. Overall, I really enjoy using this palette, and it has quickly become my everyday makeup palette. I have almost hit pan on one of my favorite shimmers which just shows how much I enjoy using it. My Rating: 9/10 Hope y'all enjoyed the review! Mwah! -Shan :) |
