Hello!!!
I can't remember the last time I did a favorites post, so for this week's post I'm going to do one, lol. I haven't really been trying too many new products; I've mostly been sticking to my holy grails and favorites. Without further ado, here are my march favorites. Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette: I have literally only had this palette since September of 2017, and I've already hit pan on my favorite shade, which is burnt orange. The entire palette has a great range of colors, and I've never had an issue with blending or color payoff. I highly recommend this palette to anyone looking for an everyday makeup palette. It retails for $42.00 and is absolutely worth every penny. Anastasia Beverly Hills X Amrezy Highlighter: Online this highlighter looks like it would never match someone with as fair a skin complexion as I have, but guys I swear it does!!! I have worn this highlight on numerous occasions over the past month, and I have never noticed any fading or anything. It is pigmented, creamy, and easy to apply. It retails for $28 in stores and online. This highlight is limited edition, so get your hands on it before its gone!! L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara: Because I wear glasses, mascara can seem like a total pain to me since I already have super long eyelashes naturally. This mascara does me a great justice by separating my lashes, preventing extra crusty mascara getting on my glasses and under eye area. Pretty much all mascaras get a little crusty and flaky on me just because I wear glasses, and they constantly hit my lenses, so that is not limited to just this mascara. What I really like about this mascara is that the wand is super long, but it doesn't make a mess, and it really separates the lashes so that they don't stick together. This mascara retails for $9.99, and I highly recommend it for those of you who want to look like you've got falsies on but don't. I hope y'all enjoyed my March favorites and that you go try some of these products because I think they are so good!! Have a great weekend y'all! I'll be back after SRING BREAK!! Mwah! -Shan :)

Hello!!
For most of us, it is easy to get stuck in the same old makeup routine and never spice things up a bit. We stick with the same neutral colors for our eye looks and fail to ever step outside of our comfort zone. The whole point of makeup is that you can be artistic with it because it all comes off at the end of the day. The use of color is a good idea because it forces the user to do something more creative than what they are used to. I come up with the best eyeshadow looks when I simply just sit down and start playing with makeup. Don't be afraid to try and create bold looks because you think people will judge you. Makeup is all about self-expression and making yourself feel your very best. While neutral colors are amazing, and I myself wear them on a regular basis, it's always a good idea to spice things up every once and awhile. To help you all get started on your journey with color, I am going to include a short list of colorful products that I personally love down below. 1. NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliner: $6.99 2. The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette: $38.00 3. NYX Brights Ultimate Shadow Palette: $17.99 4. Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow: $24.00 Of course these are only four things that I love, but there are TONS of other colorful products out there that I don't own but are more than likely great quality!! Don't be afraid to work with color, it will make you a better makeup artist in the long run!! Have a great weekend!! Mwah! -Shannon :) Hello!! One thing I know I struggled with when I started doing makeup was understanding how to do the perfect winged liner. Although eyeliner is distinct to someones eye shape, there is a basic method to getting the perfect shape for your eye. Below is a picture explaining this method: If y'all have any questions about any of the steps, please feel free to use the information listed in the contact tab to ask me!! Have a great weekend!!
